ASEAN Farmers’ Organisation Support Programme (AFOSP) is an EU-IFAD Grant funded multi-stakeholder projects that aims to improve the livelihood and food security situation of smallholder farmers and rural producers in ASEAN Countries. The programme consists of two major components of the Regional Policy Dialogue (Medium term Cooperation Program Phase II and Regional Policy Dialogue/MTCP 2) and Farmers Fighting Poverty (FFP).The main stakeholders of AFOSP are the Asian Farmers’ Association for Sustainable Rural Development (AFA), La Via Campesina (LVC), the ASEAN Foundation (AF), and participating ASEAN Farmers’ Organisations (FOs).


Under direct supervision of Communication Officer and AFOSP Project Manager, the consultant will produce high quality videos and photos on the ASEAN LEARNING SERIES on Quality Management along agri-value-chains in Bangkok for the use of AFOSP and ASEAN Foundation’s publications, websites and any other purposes.

The consultant should cover the three-days event that will be held on 29 – 31 May 2018. There are three big agenda during the event; exhibition at Thaifex, field trip, and one day workshop. Consultant will also do live-streaming in ASEAN Foundation Facebook on 29 May & 31 May with your camera. Continued with editing process to make the video footage ready to use for AFOSP and ASEAN Foundation’s publication.


Video edit of ASEAN Learning Series consisted of:

  • 3 Testimonial Video from Participant, Partner, Facilitator (1 Min video for each)
  • 1 event highlight video (1 min for social media)
  • 1 compilation video (consist of 3 days activities within 8-9 mins)
  • 1 Field Trip video (1 Min for social media)
  • Raw content video footages taken during three-days event

The video documentation should be submitted D+21 with subtitle/text after approval or revision by ASEAN Foundation Communication Team.

The original format of the photographs should be submitted on daily basis during the event. While the edited and captioned photographs will be submitted via google drive link by 2 weeks after the event

The duration of assignment will be from 29 – 31 May 2018


The duration of assignment will be starts from 29th – 31th May 2018 for video covering and continued with 10 days work for editing and subtitle (by 2-3 revise needed), till the final edited video and photograph received by ASEAN Foundation Communication Team, on June 21st 2018. Intellectual Property Right:

All information pertaining to ASEAN Learning Series is under the intellectual property right of ASEAN Foundation. The information shall not be disclosed to the public nor used in whatever media/event without written permission of the ASEAN Foundation in line with the national and international Copyright Laws applicable.

Skills and Experience Required:

  1. Advanced experience as photographer, videographer, and video editor
  2. Experience taking photographs for international forums with different angle (e.g human interest, scenery, etc)
  3. Previous working experience with NGOs or documentary videos are highly desirable
  4. Having working permit or residing in the Thailand
  5. Ownership or possession of high resolution state of the art digital camera, video camera, or drone are highly desirable
  6. Flexible to facilitate request based on story board or script provided by ASEAN Foundation
  7. Fluency in English
  8. Able to work under pressure and meet tight timelines
